Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) successfully extended the contract of Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, for a year. Thus, Ibrahimovic will stay at PSG until June 2016.
Before officially signing a new contract, Ibrahimovic has a contract that will keep him at PSG until June 2015. However, PSG camp intends to continue to work with Ibrahimovic.
"Zlatan Ibrahimovic's desire is to be one of the best players in the world and left a long and lasting legacy at PSG. Together, we share the same ambition to take the club to the top of the European game," PSG President Nasser al-Khelaifi.
Ibrahimovic also was pleased with the new contract. It also makes closed doors Ibrahimovic move to another club in the near future.
"I do not see the big ambitions of other European clubs than PSG. PSG hope to make the big club last. Club is like me, a dream is never big enough," said Ibrahimovic.
