Barcelona secured the signature of young Manchester City midfielder, Denis Suarez. Did not say how much should be spent Barcelona transfer for the 19-year-old players.
Suarez has signed a four-year contract. Suarez release clause worth 12 million euros. Barcelona will first enter Suarez to Barcelona B squad who play in the Segunda Liga.
"Barcelona and Manchester City agreed to transfer about Denis Suarez. Born player Salceda de Caselas, Pontevedra, arriving from Manchester City and contracted for four seasons," said an official statement of Barcelona, Thursday (08/22/2013).
Suarez look slick with the Spanish national team in the U-20 World Cup in Turkey some time ago. Although Spain failed to win, Suarez could be assessed future El Matador players.
Suarez has become a byword in Spain. Not only Barcelona, another Spanish clubs like Espanyol, Valencia, Sevilla, Granada, and Celta Vigo also reportedly interested in him.
Manchester City as the legal owner of Suarez has not given him the opportunity to appear in the Premier League. During two years at The Citizens, Suarez has only once played with the first team in the English Champions League Cup.
