Barcelona striker Lionel Messi, dedicating his side's 4-0 win over Ajax in the preliminary match of Group H Champions League on Wednesday (09.19.2013), for trainer Gerardo "Tata" Martino who was mourning the death of his father.
Tata's father passed away on Tuesday (09/17/2013). He is scheduled to return to Argentina after the match against Ajax.
"We want to dedicate this victory to Martino because he was not in a good place now," said Messi told Canal +.
Barca victory itself thanks to Messi's scintillating performances that create a hat trick in the match. As one third by Gerrard Pique.
"We played better in the second half.'s A matter of time. We're adapting to ourselves for this season. Was a good thing we have an alternative. We have many players who could make a difference and most can provide opportunities," said Messi.
