Pele Said to Neymar don't go to Premier League

Brazilian soccer legend, Pele, revealed that Barcelona striker Neymar (21), almost resigned to the English Premier League last year. However, the intention was undone as pele did not advise him to play there.


"I was fortunate to meet with Neymar, company representatives, and President Santos last year. Then, Neymar had the opportunity to play in England and I was one of those who stopped him," said Pele was quoted as saying by Marca. The player nicknamed O Rey (The King) is also explained why preventing Neymar to move to the Premier League.

"He's just starting his career and the Premier League is very different and more emphasized physical strength. At Barcelona, they played more operands. Barcelona officially announced the transfer of Neymar last week after having undergone tough discussions with Santos as the owner of the old 21-year-old player.
