Manchester United Renew the Contract Rooney in January 2014

Manchester United (MU) is reportedly preparing a new contract for the addition of Wayne Rooney. Negotiating the contract extension, according to the Telegraph, it is suspected will be conducted in January 2014.


Rooney still under contract with United until July 30, 2015. However, the Red Devils want to extend the contract Rooney reported that 27-year-old striker was not to move to another club.

Understandably, this summer Rooney reportedly had no feel at home in Old Trafford. The former Everton striker was also mentioned briefly became the main target for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

"The manager and the coaching staff has created a new environment. We are not in a hurry to discuss a new contract, but, if there are talks in January and we could lock it (Rooney) up to the age of 30, we will do that," said one source close to MU.

Rooney has not been able to play for United since they had to pull over because of severe injuries in the head after being hit by his fellow shoe, Phil Jones, Saturday (08/31/2013). As a result of that injury, Rooney is rumored to be out for three weeks.
